‘I enthusiastically applied, and when I found out that I was going to leave, it almost didn’t feel real.Reality went far beyond my expectations. We stayed at Scape, a 21-floor building only for students, in a very convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from TAFE and UTS, two large universities. Each floor had study spaces that students could use. There were also many leisure facilities, such as a game room, a cinema, a gym, and a beautiful terrace with a view of the impressive skyscrapers of Sydney.
We had the opportunity to attend language classes at TAFE for two weeks, choosing the level that suited us best. The land itself is the perfect mix between untouched nature and a modern city. The wildlifes are magical. I never thought a kangaroo could eat from my hand. And the ferries that cross the different sides of Sydney pass right in front of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.’ Giulia P. – 5B
